The Zephyrs hail from Ballarat Victoria and are gathering a new following since they started performing
50's Rock and Roll a few months ago taking their
Salty Dog punters with them.

Steve Plater - Guitar - One of Australia's most talented multi instrumentalists
took out Male Artist of the Year 2000 Vic/Tas Blues Awards and is considered to be one of the best guitarists in the country.
This award is usually reserved for vocal artists, but Steve deservingly won his award on his instrumental talent.
Steve did a stint in Singapore/Thailand for several months and gained respect for his talents throughout the music industry there.
He recently recorded his first solo album

Marion Turner
Australia's only female award winning vocal Blues harmonica player is the three times winner
''Female Artist of the Year''
Victorian Tasmanian Blues awards 1999, 2000, 2004,

Both Steve and Marion whom have gained respect in the Australian and overseas
music industry as one of the most hardest working bands in the country for their Swamp Rock Blues outfit

which is still running,
have worked together for over 12 years now, covering thousands of kilometers performing every week around the country playing at various venues/festivals etc and
along with their other accolades they won
''BAND OF THE YEAR''

at the National Australian Goulburn Blues (Chain) Awards in 2000

They have well and truly established their name in the Blues industry and

With several Blues recordings under their belt they were also
**Nominated for best Blues Roots Album Aria Awards 1997**

They have appeared on television and played many live to air radio shows/interviews and their last blues recording

as well as international airplay
was the third most played CD in the Blues charts for several months on community radio in Australia and even managed to get airplay on Triple JFM -
DIG internet TV/radio and appeared on ABC's "Live and Local'' at Her Majesty's Theatre Ballarat
with Joe Camilleri, Jane Clifton, and, not to forget the night they worked with comedian Bruno Lucia somewhere in the outback and survived!

Geoff Smith - Playing drums since 1976. Played in various bands……‘Shyboys’… 6 years / released single 1989.‘Sweet Heat’…support band for ‘IceHouse’ 1991. ‘Trevor Gleeson’ ‘All Star Band’ 2001.
Geoff plays “SONOR” Drums.
Ian Amor - has also worked with Steve in various bands over the years and was an original member of The Slide Devils when it was formed in 94 with Steve and Marion until he formed his own three piece band called
''BIG BLUE''
(named after his double bass)
which was very popular in the Blues Circuit, but after a few years he thought it would be a good idea to call up his friends to re-unite
